Interdependence … is when partners value their emotional connection while still maintaining their own sense of self…where partners can rely on each other without sacrificing their individual identities.
( Definition by Carbon Collective Investment )
Interdependence can sometimes look like a tangled mass of chaos. Nature shows us how beautifully balanced interdependence can be when it grows organically between two willing creations. With perfect balance, strength, and kindness a beautiful entity is formed. One upholding the other in support. If lop-sidedness or unevenness is present it can overwhelm both creations and befall them both.
However, true interdependence maintains a separate but equal base.
A separate but equal sized base allows for independent growth that will give strength to the union as a whole. Without the independence the interdependence would not stay in balance, or thrive.
Sometimes we can ” See God Through The Trees” God wants interdependence with us. He wants us to have a firm base of which to grow but, He is there intertwined with us, holding us, and using the strength of His base and branches with ours.
These beautiful trees are situated along my walk in the Chickamauga Battlefield, Chickamauga, GA. If you are familiar with the “horse parking area” you will be able to find them. I hope you will go see them. I could not help but notice the balance of independence and interdependence. Nature is beautiful, and sometimes we can see God through the trees. We just have to look.. I hope you enjoyed my thoughts, they may be silly but if so, I hope you were entertained. I took the photo with an iphone8 so.. it doesn’t show the whole beauty of the trees. I hope you love where you live. I hope you see the unique gifts that are all around you. I love the North Georgia / Greater Chattanooga TN area. There is beauty here!
